What happens when carriers stop giving a crap about looks and functionality in their mobile product offerings? Well, if you’re Verizon Wireless, you release the CDM-8905 low-ender. This thing is all about scraping the bottom of the barrel. It’s got tiny color display and even tinier monochrome external display straight from 1999. But hey, at least it’s free right? Wrong, Big Red is charging $20 with a 2-year contract! That’s a crazy price – not because it’s so high, but because any price for this phone would be too high. It’d be more reasonable to offer this phone for free, but they’d have to pay us to use this thing.
