Verizon V CAST Mobile TV reaches Arkansas

Following Florida, Verizon (NYSE: VZ) decided to offer its mobile TV service to the citizens of Arkansas — actually that’s Central Arkansas, but what the hack. Now, Verizon Wireless customers living in the mentioned area will be able to join the carrier’s subscribers from other covered parts of the U.S. in mobile TV watching.
We’ve already talked about V CAST Mobile TV in several posts, I’ll only repeat that if you jump to it, you’ll be able to watch content from such media entities as CBS, Comedy Central, ESPN, Fox, MTV, NBC News, NBC Entertainment and Nickelodeon. And if you’re thinking to add some mobile TV to your life, now may be the right time, as Verizon is in the midst of its Red Hot Deal Days promotion — from August 12 to September 3 — when they offer the mobile TV-enabled LG VX9400 handset for only $99.99, after a $50 mail-in rebate.
