cCam – free Symbian S60 3rd ed. app that transforms your phone into a spy cam
By Dusan Belic on Tuesday, August 21st, 2007 at 2:29 PM PST In Applications, Symbian
In case you wanted to snap fast photos without anyone noticing it, keep reading as we’ve found a new application for Symbian S60 3rd edition based devices which allows you to do that.

With cCam (pronounced see-cam) you can take photos with no shutter sound and no flash light. In addition you can set the focus range and grab even better looking photos — although auto-focus is not supported.
The cCam is a free application that will work on all latest camera-equipped Nokia (NYSE: NOK) smartphones, with an exception of N72, which runs on top of the earlier version of S60 software platform. Want to download it? Here’s the link to the file.

This is really interesting app! How do they made to turn off the flashlite? I’ll try this app for sure!
On the N95 the red light does fire for a micro second!
Excellent software. Thanks a lot.
red light flashes w/ the N75 as well.
Erm.. My N73 couldnt recognize the file.
Flash light fires on E71, but no shutter sound.
In some countries it’s illegal to take pics without sound and can give prison punishment
