Until I’ve read this, I haven’t realized that Isreal’s government has problems with information leakage. They always seemed so efficient on TV…
Anyway, ministers in Israel were notified that they would no longer be allowed to bring their cell phones to cabinet meetings. Their phones will stay with security guards, who will keep them till the end of they leave the room.
Apparently, some Israel’s senior official are known to call reporters and leave the cell phones running during the meeting, so the journalists hear everything that goes on. Hopefully, this haven’t happened during the security briefings with the cabinet.
