While we’re still waiting for the major handset makers to make a single WQVGA screen equipped device available in the Western hemisphere, the Chinese have done it again.
This time we’re presenting you with two such devices we’ve spotted recently.

The first one, called M608 (no it’s not Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE)) has a 2.8″ WQVGA touchscreen, 1.3 MP camera, stereo Bluetooth, and the high-capacity 2600 mAh battery. The M608 measures 116×51x16 mm, and weighs only 80 grams.

The other device, ZT690, has an all silver design with brushed metal, which make it actually look not that cheap. There’s also a bit larger 3″ touchscreen, much better 5 MP camera, dual channel memory for faster phone operation and pre-installed NES emulator. It has dimension of 117×51x16.5 mm, and weight of 85 grams.
In addition, both mentioned devices also sport the standard microSD expansion slot, media player, as well as stereo speakers.

Not bad, not bad at all…
