Zegna Sport announces iJACKET with Eleksen

Remember that Zegna Solar JKT from the Italian fashion-house of Ermenegildo Zegna Holditalia SpA (Zegna)? Well, it looks like Zegna Sport is at it again with a new jacket. This time it’s not solar-powered, but it’ll integrate all your gadgets with style. Zegna Sport has teamed up with Eleksen to embed the same ElekTex smart fabric that we saw in their fabric keyboard into the Zegna Sport iJACKET.

The iJACKET integrates embedded audio and phone controls, Bluetooth, and microphone in a stylish coat that only a high-end fashion-house can deliver. With audio and phone controls embedded into the sleeve’s fabric, the iJACKET lets you listen your your iPod’s tunes and talk on your phone at the same time – not simultaneously (that would be kinda hard), the jacket automatically turns down the audio volume when you’re on the phone.

But, as we would expect from a gadget (it’s strange referring to a jacket as a gadget) that merges high-fashion with high-tech, this piece of winter gear is gonna cost a pretty penny – or 170,000 pennies. That’s right, the iJACKET will deal your wallet a good deal of damage – to the tune of $1,700 USD.

If you’re pockets are deep enough, head over to Zegna’s website and pick up your very own iJACKET now.
