Rogers Wireless: get your MySpace fix on Rogers’ handsets

It looks like Rogers Wireless is bringing MySpace to social-networking junkies across Canada. The largest GSM carrier in the country of the maple leaf will be rolling out the MySpace Mobile service to its customers later this month. But, there’s a catch. In exchange for the hours of your life (browsing friends’ profiles and editing your homepage) that you’ll spend on MySpace Mobile, Rogers Wireless will be tacking on an additional CDN $5 fee to your monthly bill.
The service should go live any day now, and if you’ve already got your hands on a MySpace Mobile-compatible handset, you’ll be good to go as soon as Rogers flips the switch. Compatible phones are listed as the Samsung A516, Samsung A706, Sony Ericsson W580, Sony Ericsson W810, and LG TU500.
If you sign up before October 31, 2007, Rogers will hook it up with 6 months of unlimited MySpace Mobile access for the low, low price of FREE. Head on over to their website and check it out.
