Nokia N73 Special Edition celebrates Ramadan

Nokia N73 Special Edition celebrates RamadanCoinciding with the Holy month of Ramadan, Nokia (NYSE: NOK) has recently announced the N73 Special Edition, which will be initially exclusively available in the Middle East and North Africa markets.

Coming in an elegant new soft white color with subtle highlights, the N73 Special Edition is “carefully tailored for the consumers in the Arab world.” Along with the handset, the sales package also contains a 2GB mini SD memory card, matching leather pouch and high performance stereo headset. As for the pre-installed apps, Nokia bundled a collection of Azkars for the morning and the evening, an Islamic Organiser with audible alarms for the five daily prayers, a Qibla direction indicator, a Hijri calendar, two Islamic e-books and a Universal Dictionary which supports English, Arabic, Farsi, Urdu and French. In addition, buyers of this device will be able to download more applications through the “Download!” feature on the device, including Name of Allah, as well as a third e-book.

Quite a package! And let’s not forget, the N73 comes with 3.2 MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics and auto-focus, Bluetooth, 2.4″ QVGA screen, and is based on the Symbian S60 software platform.
