T-Mobile BlackBerry 8320 Curve busts out with WiFi in the wild

We’ve finally gotten the chance to lay eyes on Research In Motion’s (RIM) WiFi toting T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Curve 8320. With a launch date slated for September 24, it makes sense that we’re starting to see this thing out in the wild.
If you’ll remember, the BlackBerry Curve 8320 packs in the same 2 megapixel camera, quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM radio with EDGE, Bluetooth, microSD card slot, QWERTY-keyboard, and myFaves support of it’s younger sibling, the BlackBerry Curve 8300.
The images you see above (and below) are the first of the WiFi enabled device in the wild, and it’s Gold! While it’s not unusual for carriers to release a device with a new feature in an eye-catching new color, we’re not sure if Gold was the right choice for the BlackBerry 8320 Curve.
Boy Genius does expect a silver/titanium color from T-Mobile at launch, so we’ll hold out for more “live” pictures of the more standard color scheme.

I absolutly agree, why in the world would you put gold! That is not an appealing color at all! They should be trying to up there sales, not downsize it.
Hey just as a heads up to all,there are actually 4 colors of this phone comming out for sure. They are Gold, Black, White, and Red. This is from a high leel source so your just going to have to trust me!
Does anyone know if the blackberry curve web browser and instant messenger uses the wifi or just uses the
t-mobile or at&t service network, Because when i read the reviews i hear wifi was for use of voip
I ordered one and it came in yesterday. I got the gold one, and yeah… it’s cute in the right light, but unless bright lights are shining directly on it all the time…. it looks more olive/puke/baby doo-doo green………. and that is not cute.
I’m sending it back and trading for the Titanium.
