Everyone bashes Microsoft, yet not enough people are seeing Google for what it is - bigger than Microsoft and with far fewer people monitoring its behavior. If Google was truly here for out best interests, it would spin off it's business units into autonamous entities that are not directly governed my Google. What is happening right now is no different than the Bell family back in the day. There is no historically recorded government or business that has accumulated mass amounts of power that has continued to operate in the best interest of the people. This phone foray is just another means for Google to grab power. @AC – I totally agree with you, the fear of Google.
