I really hope these are fake because this device makes me want to punch myself in the stomach. Some dude on eBay called x1387, who is a highly respected importer of unlocked devices, has a 8900 dummy phone. Here are the pictures, try not to laugh:

why do you want to punch yourself in the stomach? It does not look that bad.

  • iezo

It makes me hide any mobile phone i have so they not explode committing a suicide!!

  • Dope

jj it might not look too bad, but its 8900… it should look good at least if it has +1000 price tag on it  Thought thats nota real deal.

  • PlayerKill

Huh? I kinda like the design. Although, I’d agree that the 8600 looks better.

  • norcalbarney

I don’t think the 8900 is attractive, but it doesn’t make me want to punch myself anywhere. I suppose I would punch myself somewhere that it hurts less, like my leg. Besides, I just bought an iPhone for $299.

Did anyone notice the complete lack of Symbian or Home keys on this phone? If the leaked E5xx pic was any hint, we should start seeing Home buttons on all new Nokias.

if this is the 8800/Sirocoo replacement then Nokia have completely lost the plot… that is the single worst 88xx phone EVER.

  • lakaikl

original 8800 was crap to use – it may have looked nice but it was rubbish

the sirocco was a big improvement

this is almost certain to be real – it would make sense, looking at the luna design

  • Tyrone

Not the best design or innovative breakthrough I’d expect from the 8800 series. First off, I love 8800 series. I hate the 8600 Luna. Cheap looking. I have the Sirocca and I have the Gold Version. I pay good money for phones for super rich. I want my 8900 to look spectacular and I expect it to look a lot different from those common Nokia, Moto, Ericson phones. This is just so disappointing. I really want to give my money to Nokia and buy another limited edition series just so I can show it off and be different. What a crock

i like the special and the weard designs well i think this is a nice piece of mobile technology even by my own openion i dnt like the nokia

    regards .

this is not a 8900. it is the 8800 arte. the 8900 is far better looking, and better than this. 4mm thick too!
