Sony Ericsson Z750a coming to AT&T?

It seems folks at AT&T (NYSE: T) find Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE) handsets appealing, hence following the W580i and the Z310a, they want to add yet another device from the Swedish-Japanese phone maker. This time it’s the Z750a, which was announced along with the shaky W580i.

Among other things, the Sony Ericsson clamshell sports the 2 MP camera, 2.2″ QVGA screen, HSDPA support and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. In terms of availability, we know it should hit the stores somewhere in third quarter this year. We’re already there, now let’s just wait for AT&T to show us what they’re made of… Few more photo-proofs after the break.

I’ve been eyeing this phone for the greater part of the year, and just FYI, it used to be the Z750i. It changed about 3 months ago, IIRC.
I also have been watching and waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and no one seems to have any inkling about this phone. I bought the z 650i, which apparently was only sold in australia, although I got mine on amazon.com…..everything works great here in the usa, except it doesn’t get great reception…..got an email from sony today, saying the 750a was now available in sony stores – called and the salesperson had no clue what i was talking about and proceeded to put me on hold for 10 minutes. PRobably would have been longer if i hadn’t given up and hung up. when will this company ever get it together? they have great stuff – getting it is the problem….

what is in mobile (z750a)
I really want to get this phone. I been wating for ever to get it. It’s draving me crazy that it has not been put for at&T, the fourth quater is over! When? When? I cant take no more!
Z750a should probably have the same camera as the Z750i and Z610i. I currently use the Z610i and the camera is just okay. I think Z750 series kept most of the same hardware but just had HSDPA support added.
Either way it’s pretty stylish but the top of the flip is a giant finger print and potential scratch magnet.
