Next Nokia product announcement in less than 3 weeks?

I blogged about the party in Los Angeles Nokia (NYSE: NOK) is holding thinking that it would be just that, a party. Low and behold I’m begining to hear reports that WOM World, Nokia’s word of mouth marketing agency is involved. They’re flying over someone from the hit UK mobile community 3G Forum. He says:
Ive been invited by WOM world to Hollywood on the 27th of September to an exclusive night run by Nokia. Apparently there will be several executives there from Nokia.
Now what can this mean? What would executives be doing at something like this? It doesn’t make sense to fly someone from the UK over to America if they’re launching a phone without 3G access for both territories. Could we see our first triband 3G quadband GSM Nokia product by the end of this month? Mark your calender folks!
Disclosure: WOM World flew me to London for the Go Play event. They totally rock and I hope they stop by the Symbian Smartphone Show next month, I ordered my tickets to London last night.

I meant to stop by during the event in Chicago but you seemed to be quite popular so hopefully I will get a chance this time as I got an invite form WOM to attend the LA event as well.

I hope they announce the N82 like Al say
I’m wondering if we aren’t going to see the U.S. 3G variant of the n95 8gb.. although that might cannibalize sales of the n95 3G that was announced today, not sure. At any rate, I’m pissed that I had to turn down WOMWord’s invitation, but I hope everyone that is there has fun!
