Do European plans get free nights, free weekends, and free mobile to mobile calling?

For example, I have 900 minutes with free nights, free weekends, free mobile calling, and 1200 text messages a month, for less than 50 Euro.

But, I think I’d trade the extra minutes for some 3G – I’m used to paying out the butt for my smartphone data plans anyway.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but most plans in Europe do not require you to contribute minutes from your pool when you’re being called, which basically doubles the amount of minutes you’ve got in your European plan if you want to compare the current ATT plans and the T-Mobile one.

i think youd be suprosed. in the uk we have plns of up to £75. theres loadsa people i kow on those plans. most poeple i know however tend to go onto £35 a month. belive it or not the most popular plan in the uk is £35 a month.

Nobody in Europe will pay 50 euros for a mobile plan !

If this came true the monthly fee would be too high. Here in Germany you can get a UMTS data plan with unlimited data transfer for 25 EUR (about $ 34). If the European iPhone can’t be used as external modem as well, 50 EUR per month would be an insult…
