Teashark Java-based web browser is the Opera Mini competitor

By Dusan Belic on Tuesday, September 11th, 2007 at 1:39 AM PST In Applications, Mobile Web

Teashark Java-based web browserOpera Mini just got the new competitor. Called Teashark, the new mobile web browser delivers pretty much the same experience Opera Mini does. There’s zooming, data compression and the intuitive interface fine-tuned for mobile experience. Other features include recent history, browsing in landscape mode, smart address entry, find text on page, bookmarks import from del.icio.us, RSS reader, ad blocking and secure server connection support. Quite impressive for the web browser still in alpha stage. I’ll stop here, as the 5-minute long video follows after the jump.
