Internets in my pantaloons, I’ve been an addict for a while now and Juniper Research reckons that a lot of people will want to become one too. In 2007 there are only 40 million people out there using mobile data, that number is expected to his 260 million in just 5 years, 60 million in India alone. Revenue will hit $1 billion if operators can somehow manage to offer less confusing data plan packages. With more and more companies charging a flat rate for internet access maybe the industry can finally admit to itself that yes, they are just bit pipes.
