Orange picks up Apple iPhone for France

Following on the UK’s O2 and Germany’s T-Mobile announcement that they will be bringing their respective European nations the much-heralded Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) iPhone, France’s Orange has just announced their intention to bring the iPhone to the crepe-eating, mime-loving population of France. We’re not surprised, but at least it’s official now.

Finally, the European iPhone theater is official. We’re sure all you Euro Apple fans can’t wait for November to roll around. Anyone planning on waiting in line for an iPhone?
