We definitely wouldn’t have done it, but the head honcho of HTC’s US operations has stepped down. At a time when HTC is stronger than ever, Todd Achilles exited, stage-left, last month. RCR News is reporting that the resignation of HTC’s US-chief was precipitated by personal issues. Achilles said that, after traveling 80% of the time last year, he’ll be taking time off to be with his family.
The company’s US headquarters in Bellevue, Washington is actively searching for a replacement to take the reigns. We’re sure the ship is basically steering itself in the US – the boys in Taiwan are probably keeping a tight grip on US operations. Still, if you need a job, you know where to look.
