LG KU990 Viewty YouTube phone

With a spec-sheet that would make a techno-geek weak in the knees with excitement, the LG KU990 “Viewty” YouTube phone brings LG’s A-game to the smartphone market. If you’ve had a chance to check out that preview vid that Stefan posted a little while back, then you know just how badass this thing is going to be.

Well, it seems that the LG KU990 Viewty is going to bring even more “cool” to the party. LG has announced that the Viewty is now DivX certified – giving the LG KU990 the ability to play full-length DivX movies on its glorious 3 inch touchscreen.

We turn an envious shade of green when we think about how Vodafone subscribers will be getting their “Viewty” on well before we will.

Oh and don’t forget that you’ll likely be able to stream said DivX flicks over the handset’s 3G HSDPA data connection. Badass? We told you so.
