All are rite. It wont sell well. First of all not much advertising or marketing efforts. No one knows much about Treo. My Treo 750 gets called a Blackberry most of the time :-P in India.
But its really powerful phone. You cant compare it to the sluggish Symbian. But mebbe to HTC - thats windows. It is way better integrated with a Windows PC.

Also I got mine unlocked new for 6K from US. So for me its not worth the 22K as advertised on Airtel:-P Yes you can say Palm never delivered in India. Forget Pre or Pixie - I would have loved to have a Centro and Pro sold by palm in India. But for the price I got my hands on Treo 750 WM6 its unbeatable compared to any other phone in India in the price range of 5 to 10K :-P HTC was anyways above that range.

Hey I spent a considerable amount of time in India, and I can basically guarantee that this phone will not do well. I mean you are competing in the Indian phone market, PALM, time to wake up.

It is the largest growing cellphone market, but by no means is it small. Everyone from the local begger, to shop keeper, to industrialist has a phone, and not just any phone. My nocker (servant) in India had a Nokia 8800 2 years ago. I don't know if he would give that up, even today, for a 750, which is old school compared to the N90 and HTC phones. Good luck Palm, thanks for contributing to the recession we are in but don't realize it.

Palm Treo 750 is a business smartphone with comes with amazing look and rich style is sure to attract the youth as well as business people in India.I am sure Palm is going to make its presence felt in India. The phone is priced at 27k,a bit too high for the middle class people, but its elegant look, style and performance is sure to steal the heart of the high class people.

Too late. Palm never delivered in India, when it mattered. Now HTC is ruling the smartphone segment in India. Nokia E-Series also emerging as a clear winner there.

I doubt if it will sell well. Most people in India prefer symbian over WinMo!
Treo's been here for ages and still sales'r are pretty low.
