IntoMobile unboxes Motorola ROKR S9 Bluetooth headsets

By Dusan Belic on Saturday, September 29th, 2007 at 4:24 AM PST In Accessories, Motorola

I’ve finally got an opportunity to test the Motorola’s active ROKR S9 headsets. In what will be the series of video clips, you’ll be able to see just how cool this Bluetooth headsets are. The first video is all about unboxing. It’s not exactly the loudest video I ever took, but what the heck — you’ll get the point. Beside the headset, the retail package also contains some promotional materials, guide and different sizes of those gummy things that go into your ears. First impression - I love it! :)

P.S. Thanks to Motorola (NYSE: MOT) for sending this in.

I had these headphones with my Nokia N75 and the range on them would not even let me put the phone in my jeans pocket and walk around outside. I guessed that the Nokia-S9 combo was bad. What phone are you using them with?

    I so want bluetooth headphones.

I’m using the ROKR S9 with friend’s Sony Ericsson P990i. Unfortunately, my N93 doesn’t support A2DP and the mono sound is just horrible.

How’s the range with the SE P990i/ROKR S9 combo? I’ve been thinking about getting a pair of Bluetooth headsets for the gym, but then I realized that my primary DAP is my iPhone and it doesn’t support A2DP Bluetooth.

Looking forward to more vids Dusan!

Actually I haven’t went that far from the phone. Maybe 5m, and it worked perfectly.

I am SOOOO disappointed. While these headphones pair up quickly the base response is terrible. I still have my old Motorola bluetooth headphones HT820, which i have head so many comments about it looking like pricess Leah’s (Starwars) side hair-buns. I’m glad now I didn’t get rid of them. So my old ones have a much better BASS RESPONSE than these new rokr s9 model. I am very particular about headphones that should have some kind of decent bass sound. The motorola s9 has almost NO bass response, compared to the HT820 bluetooth. I’ll give them to my kids for Christmas (they’re not so concerned about bass). What a shame.

Yeah, it’s missing the bass, but for a workout they rock. Especially now with the new lower price.

This is exactly what I expected to find out after reading the title Getting your website crawled by Search engine Crawlers. Thanks for informative article.
