Hands-on the T-Mobile Sidekick LX - live pics galore!

The T-Mobile Sidekick LX is slated to launch in late October and the wait for some must be unbearable. But Boy Genius managed to get his hands on the upcoming Sidekick LX and has the live pics to prove it. The Sidekick LX isn’t a major improvement over the Sidekick 3, but it’s the little things that seem to make the difference. Boy Genius came away impressed with the successor to the Sidekick 3.
The thinner, lighter feel of the device and crisp display garnered the Sidekick LX some kudos from Boy Genius, as did the trademark Sidekick-QWERTY keyboard and rubberized backside. Unfortunately, lack of WiFi and 3G are a couple of Sidekick LX downers. And it seems that ringtones, games, and applications from your Sidekick 3 won’t be transferable to the Sidekick LX. Still, the Sidekick LX seems to be a definite improvement and could very well be worth the price for those looking to get that “new” feeling back on their Sidekick.
Keep your pants on, the Sidekick LX is still about a month away (the end of this month), so you’re going to have to satisfy yourself with some live, unboxing pics, courtesy of Boy Genius.

Yeah, they can be, you can buy unlocking codes off ebay and then find out how to unlock it yourself or I supose you could get someone to do it at a cell phone store.

I have a hiptop 3 and even that doesn’t satisfy me.
my friend is giving me her old hiptop 2.
i don’t care about what features is has.
it’s all aesthetic things that matter to me.

I’m not sure about the Sidekick LX yet. I want the Curve but im not sure if it will work right for my job. I have 2 email accounts and I need to get them. i get about 70 emails a day. Is the Curve really better? Let me know, thanks.

..hey can someoane pls tell me what the real difference between the lx and the sk3 is..cuz i’m about to get one,but i just can seem to decide which one to get..the lx just sounds perfect,but the 3 is much cuter..i’m 14 yrs old,so everyone recommends me the sk3..but i don’t care about those kind of things,i just want it to be perfect..so,pls,tell me what’s the big difference between them acctually..thnx..
