Milk carton phone concept?

There are two things I don’t understand about this concept device. First, why it’s called “Milk carton,” when it doesn’t look like one. And second, how the hack the guy/girl who designed it thinks it will work?

On the other hand, maybe its the phones made out of carton that we’ll see/use in the future. With ecological issues getting deserved attention of the media nowadays, it’s kinda logical to try and use uber-recyclable materials to make handsets in the future. Or, I’m just plain wrong. What do you think?
