I-play launches FIA World Rally Championship; Racing game fans rejoice!

Mobile games developer I-play has announced the global launch of the only officially licensed WRC mobile game – FIA World Rally Championship. Personally, I don’t care much if it’s official or not, but I-play’s title promises a lot of fun for the racing game addicts. Apparently, the game will feature 16 official WRC locations, four different environments and road surfaces, cinematic camera angles, third-person driving views, track hazards, car upgrades, and (here’s that word again) the official WRC music and sound effects. In addition, you will be able to play in arcade and/or championship mode, and earn bonus points for crowd pleasure stunts. Finally, you should know that the game publisher will release two versions of the game — one with 2D graphics developed internally by I-play for low to mid-range handsets, and 3D version made by I-play’s partner Firemint, which will work on more expensive phones that support 3D graphics. Can’t wait to give it a try!
