Sony Ericsson K850i, W960i spotted for sale on Ebay Italy

Apparently two upcoming Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE) handsets, K850i Cyber-shot and W960i Walkman, were spotted for sale on eBay Italy
. While we want to believe these handsets are already available, somehow I doubt that it’s true especially for the W960i, which should hit the streets somewhere in December. On the other hand, the seller seems quite respectable, hence I’m confused. Whatever the case is, I would still suggest waiting for the official release when there’s no chance to end-up with a fake device.

Well, the seller actually comes from Germany and right on the auction page he has put a link on an expected delivery status.

So it seems like the 960i will only be available from 48th calender week onwoards – which is some time around the end of November… there you go.
Now, isn’t that typical of Ebay sellers? What you are bidding on is the phone – but delivery is just when it’s has been officially released to the market.
