Now this is how a Nokia-branded car should look – the Nokia Ford Mustang

This is a bit of older news, but it’s worth mentioning simply because it’s a prime example of how a Nokia (NYSE: NOK)-branded automobile should be done. The Nokia-branded Ford Mustang you see here has been tricked out with Nokia N800 Internet Tablets and is the muscle-bound wireless powerhouse compared to Renault’s effeminate Twingo Nokia Special Edition.

Boy Genius got his hands on pics of this Ford Mustang fully-decked out with Nokia N800 Internet Tablets in the headrests and even a center-console mounted N800 up front. The N800’s are integrated into the central media server and are used to control media functions. Wireless data is pulled down through an N95 connected to the N800’s through WiFi.

So, it looks like Nokia does know how to do in-car integration, if only as a one-off concept. And check out that license plate. Nice.

Woho What amazing good looking Nokia Ford Car !
I’ not a big fan of the Ford Mustang, this thing is definitely high on the “cool” scale.
Is it just me or do those N800 holders not really look like they fit in the head-rests? Hmm typical american car no attention to detail! haha..
Well, it’s still pretty sweet, I’d give it a good home.
“Hmm typical american car no attention to detail!”
So true.
With automatic transmission… the americans are crazy
Imagine if Nokia did this with a Porsche, Audi, or BMW. I would trade a kidney for that car
