What better way to turn a company’s finances around than to kick the ring-leader to the curb and look for new leadership? Well, Sprint seems to see it that way, at least. The No. 3 US wireless carrier has been dealing with dwindling profits ever since current CEO Gary D. Forsee’s merger with Nextel, and is looking to bring on a new CEO to turn things around.
Sprint’s board of directors wants to get a new CEO on board by December of this year and is actively seeking a new CEO. The change of leadership might be just what Sprint needs to turn this ship back into the smooth waters of increasing profits. For the sake of WiMAX services in the US, we sure hope Sprint gets what they want with a new CEO.
