Telstra subscribers in Australia must be rejoicing as their carrier activated the new HSDPA network. According to Telstra, users can now see download speeds going from 3Mbps to 6Mbps, and upload speeds between 300Kbps and 1.3Mbps. The story goes on suggesting that during the peaks, Australians should be able to move the files around the net with whooping 7.2Mbps / 1.9Mbps speeds!
Yeah, it’s about time to grab that HSDPA data card if you still don’t have one — or to upgrade the firmware on the existing 3.6Mbps-class card, and start experiencing THE freedom!
