Canadian luxury retailer Holt Renfrew to sell iPhones next year?

While this rumor is at early stages, somehow it does make sense for Apple to use an additional channel beside the carrier’s stores for iPhone’s distribution. So, we may see Apple partnering with a GSM carrier in Canada, but also with a retail chain to reach as many buyers as possible — after all, they did a similar deal for the UK market.
