Samsung SGH-i617 is the BlackJack 2

Samsung i617 BlackJack 2 II

Will the real BlackJack 2 please stand up? It looks like the Samsung SGH-i617 that recently passed FCC inspection is the real BlackJack 2. The form-factor is almost identical to the previous BlackJack, and even the model names make sense (the previous BlackJack was the Samsung i607).

We know that the Samsung i617 BlackJack II will be rocking a Windows Mobile 6.0 OS with a camera bumped-up to 2 megapixels. The quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM radio and US-friendly HSDPA (850/1900Mhz) support suggests that AT&T (NYSE: T) will be picking up this beauty soon.

We’re not sure what else the Samsung i617 BlackJack 2 will be bringing to the table, but we’d love to get some WiFi goodness underneath that shiny finish. Pricing and availability are unknown at this time, we’ll keep you guys posted.
