Fake Nokia N82 (CECT N82) spotted

Even though we still wait to see Nokia N82 released, China-based CECT has already made their “version” of the device. To be fair, there’s no Nokia (NYSE: NOK) branding on this phone — it’s just the name “Nxx” ala Nokia that bother us.
Anyway, the CECT N82 comes with a 2.6″ QVGA touchscreen, 1.3 MP camera, stereo speakers, stereo Bluetooth support, and the standard microSD memory slot. It measures 110×50x17 mm, weighs 80 grams and no, we don’t know how much it costs, though I would expect it to be quite cheap.

The cect n82 has better design keys than the nokia N82-the nav keys (cect) are far better design (no accidental center key push whilst pushing up/down/left/right nav keypart) & the number keys (cect) better too! take a look or actually use them both and compare, you will see what Im talking about
really this device is a cool and like a real mobile
I just bought the fake nokia n82 from china but can’t get it to work in US even though it’s unlock triband phone. Issac.

I have also same problem as ketan and kam. i installed Nokia pc suit in my pc but it don’t recognize as mobile device and nither it accept any software or games to installed like wise .jad .jar .zip etc only it recognize .mp3 and jpg so, any body can help me on this prob then write to me on manandhar_rash@hotmail.com.

We tested many Nokia copy.Nokia copies are very bad quality in the market,pls be careful to buy these models.
Nokia paid us$300,000-500,000 to design each model,this is very hard to copy for small manufactuers even the appearance,and it’s very hard to make everything perfect.The most sucess business operation for clones shoule be iphone clones,for the sample appearance design also bigger size.

I also have this dual sim so called Nokia N82 china make mobile…it works fantastic with 2 sims at the same time…but i need help and guidance for using gprs on this mobile…also is there any software/drivers package available that can be installed on a computer to use this mobile as a modem for internet connection?? or a kind of PC sync tool??

i bought the n80 from china, on e/bay, but have to say very happy with it.

i have problem with my nokia 82 china made ask for the lock number and when i gave it the number donot take it .
