Cars.com adds new feuture to allow users to send vehicle listings to their mobile phones

Cars.comEarlier in June, we reported that Cars.com is launching the mobile site. Now, they’ve figured out how to additionally make their site more useful for the people on-the-go. The newly launched feature, “Send to Phone”, allows users to send vehicle listings to their mobile phones.

The idea is kinda neat. You’ve spotted the car you’re interested in, but you gotta leave the home/work. Simply click on the link, and voila, a link to the exact listing will appear on your phone in the form of a text message to check that car later. Now that I’m thinking, I could use this kind of tool on Amazon.com and some other sites where I shop, or which I visit regularly…
