D-Link announces future WiMAX plansWiMAX is one of the big next-gen broadband wireless standards in the developing world. Sprint has made a clear commitment to WiMAX and parts of Asia are already on board the WiMAX-train (not to mention the 300 or so manufacturers and vendors working on WiMAX globally). According to sources in the “know,” D-Link will be concentrating on both the telecommunications and retail side of the WiMAX rollout. D-Link plans to offer integrated WiMAX, Bluetooth, and WiFi solution – with integration for VoIP and 3G down the line.
