The third-party native iPhone application that provides pseudo-GPS for the Apple’s handset users, Navizon, has been upgraded and now works with firmware versions 1.0.2 and 1.1.1. Aside from the enhanced positioning algorithms, the new version of Navizon adds Buddy Finder functionality, allowing iPhone users to add their friends to Buddy list and then see where they are on a map.
Adding a friend is quite easy, and all it requires is that you enter your and your friend’s email address and take it from there. Now, you’ll be able to share your whereabouts with the people you want — or remain private if that’s your intent… More information and download instructions are available from Navizon’s blog.
