If you're working on a message and need to close the phone, it stays where you left off, even when the display goes into sleep mode. The camera is much better than on the Cyclops. You can use any compatible Bluetooth headset---a plus for going untethetered. The choice of texting options is pretty good, however, there should have been more characters allotted in that mode, especially when communicating with the text-illiterate (like elderly parents). Hint: For larger messages using regular spelling, use the picture messaging option---it allows for 1000 characters, versus 100 in text mode, along with a photo. The unlinited messaging pack is worthwhile, as is Contact Vault. I did come upon some annoyances, however, probably due to Virgin Mobile---not Kyocera. "Surf the Web" is not fully functional due to "network gremlins," a major drawback for trying to business on-line away from your home or office without a laptop.
