Clearspring goes mobile; Launches mobile syndication widgets

Widget platform and directory, Clearspring, has decided to mobilize its widget offering. No, they’re not providing a mobile widget application that can access content from Web. Rather, their idea is in sharing content from a mobile phone to web pages, start pages and social networking profiles.

So, you won’t get your weather update or whichever widget you’re using on a mobile phone, but you’ll be able to push your content on MySpace, Freewebs, Friendster, Google (NSDQ: GOOG), Blogger and/or TypePad. Now that I’m thinking, this is more of a mobile blogging tool that is similar to Utterz’s and Xanga’s offering, than a mobile widget application.
