Video: Unboxing of a QWERTY slider by Samsung

By Stefan Constantinescu on Thursday, October 25th, 2007 at 10:42 AM PST In Samsung, Windows Mobile

Imagine the new fatty iPod nano in your head for a minute. Now imagine said fatty nano sliding up to reveal a keyboard. Can’t quite wrap your head around that concept? Neither can we, but this device sure as hell is interesting for that sole reason of being an innovative form factor. It’s called the Samsung SGH-i620 and it has a plane old 2 megapixel camera, runs Windows Mobile 6 Standard, WiFi and HSDPA. Looks alone will sell this little guy.

I don’t think it has WiFi.

Anyway, an upgrade (i640) should be on it’s way and maybe more interesting for you, a similar Symbian-based device from Samsung (i570) should also be on its way too.

Well, yeah.. that’s about 5 times bigger that a iPod nano though.. and for some reason most Samsung designs just don’t do it for me.
