Does anyone know the origin of the Hello Kitty name? Could the name just as easily have been, “Greetings Feline?” What’s with the cat?
Anyway, the Hello Kitty touchscreen mobile phone seems to be a huge hit with some of our readers (we’re guessing they’re of the female persuasion…call it a hunch), so we thought they’d appreciate seeing this Hello Kitty-branded mobile phone from OKWAP.
The Hello Kitty OKWAP C150T isn’t all that bad looking. It rocks a slightly pink color scheme with “Hello Kitty” themed artwork covering every face of the phone – and the touchscreen-based UI is decked out in pink and red, and makes liberal use of the little “Hello Kitty” cat. Interestingly, the Hello Kitty OKWAP 150T uses a touch-sensitive navigation pad in favor of a traditional keypad – just like the OKWAP 150 that this thing is based on. And check out the center of that navigation dial – the little “Hello Kitty” face illuminates from underneath with pink LEDs.

There are only two models that work in USA or Canada. One is Hello Kitty OKWAP A236 which i think they stopped producing. Another one is Hello Kitty i885 which i am trying to get at the moment. They are made in Taiwan, China or Japan. Hello Kitty models are made by OKWAP and Sanrio I am trying to get a supplier of the phones at good price and quality with the help of my agents. Hello kitty C150 is dual band that means if you from Europe or other countries it would work. USA or Canada would need a tri-band. When i get more info when they would release a tri–band of this phone i would post it on here or you can contact me at cectphones@gmail.com so i would keep you updated when i get more info on this phones.

omg…cant believe i didn’t know that this post existed seeing on how many comments the last one got. I can’t believe that Hello Kitty is suck a widely known trend and the best part is most people like it due to the “cutness” of its nature and probably haven’t even seen it. I know hello kitty is Very well known in the states but wow! I wouldn’t mind getting this phone for my sister! She would love it, big fan of hello kitty.
