Tech Digest has the scoop on a tidbit of information that the Nokia Music Store is launching on the first of November in the UK. The time, 7 AM GMT would mean 9 AM in Finland and 3 AM in New York.

I would be more hyped about it if I could have a subscription service in my hand that worked OTA, but this isn’t the case. You can only stream an unlimited amount of music on your desktop PC … boring!

Update: Nokia Official Press Release discussing this topic.

Great News, will it only be for nokia devices or for streaming music.

Boring because you only get unlimited music on your computer, not on your phone. Huge distinction there.

You are so totally wrong man, don’t you read anything? UNLIKE APPLE, you can download directly to your handset AND you’ve got the option of downloading to your PC too. So you’re NOT tied to a PC – I can’t imagine why anyone except Apple would tie a mobile device to a PC – Nokia have freed up music from being strapped to a cumbersome PC. Wuold you want to stream on the move? I wouldn’t. Think it through, every 10 seconds you’d get a drop out when you’re on a subway – so downloading to your moobile is a MUCH better idea. Durrrr, engage brain Stefan !!
