Video: BlackBerry OS 4.3.1 Beta preview

By Stefan Constantinescu on Saturday, November 3rd, 2007 at 8:00 AM PST In RIM (Research in Motion)

BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) devices are starting to get more and more multimedia capabilities and with this 4.3.1 Beta video recording has become enabled. The CEO of Nokia (NYSE: NOK) was correct when he said RIM and Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) make him paranoid. Other features include documents to go for viewing and editing attachments, voice recorder and the web browser got just a tiny bit prettier. I never used/owned a BlackBerry, but the people I know who do swear by them.

Now is it a coincidence that BlackBerry’s are getting more multimedia capabilities seeing that their corporate office in Texas is less than 2 miles away from Nokia’s? Can you say sign on bonus?

Blackberry’s OS is so inconsistent and the graphics are so ugly, still, I want a Curve, one thing BB has that S60 don’t have is the ability of changing a folder’s icon =P
