Yesterday I reported that Kari Tuutti from Nokia (NYSE: NOK)’s Multimedia Division said Nokia was open to joining the Open Handset Alliance (the group behind Android) if it proved beneficial. Today Simon Ainslie, Nokia UK’s managing director, said: “We are having ongoing discussions with Google (NSDQ: GOOG).”

    What decision do you expect? To forget Symbian?

  2. I think the decision is more on maemo platform (Nokia’s Linux tablet device).
    I don’t think Nokia will forget Symbian. :)
