Sony Ericsson fans in UK will have to wait for the W960i till January 2008

Sony Ericsson W960i

While the rest of the world, excluding the U.S. I guess, will get a chance to try out the latest Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE)’s Walkman smartphone W960i this Christmas, mobile users of UK will have to wait a little bit longer. According to the Swedish-Japanese handset maker, it’s the Christmas season’s crowded mobile phones market people of UK should “thank” to. Guess Sony Ericsson wants to make their flagship phone stand out from the crowd, and that’s not that easy to happen with the Nokia (NYSE: NOK) N95 8GB and the iPhone coming this Christmas as well. It’s kinda shame, though I guess you’ll be able to get it from some other EU country unlocked and take it from there.
