Sprint to launch pink Palm Centro for Valentine’s Day?

Over at TreoCentral forums, what seems as a Sprint (NYSE: S) employee “ashblades” is claiming that the carrier along with Palm (NSDQ: PALM) will be launching a pink Centro smartphone on February 8. The idea seems obvious — to increase the sales during the Valentine’s Day’s shopping season by appealing to females.
Earlier we saw Sprint launching black and red versions of the Palm Centro, and somehow launching the Pink-colored device would go in line with Palm’s strategy, which also offered its Treo 680 smartphone in several color options.
