Garmin wanted to buy Tele Atlas, but then it looked at how small their wallet was and decided it just wasn’t a smart deal. Instead the decided to sign a 6 year contract with Navteq, who is essentially Nokia (NYSE: NOK). [Via: Gizmodo]
