Telus adds LG 285 for those not looking much from their phone

In preparation for the Christmas season, Telus has added the low-end LG 285 phone. The clamshell device everything but impresses with its “feature set,” but it DOES look quite decent for an entry-level phone.
As for the specs, there’s the Bluetooth connectivity and VGA camera on board. In addition, users of this device will also be able to chat with their buddies on Windows Live Messenger and check their email while on-the-go.
The LG 285 measures 89×47x22 mm, weighs 91 grams, and could be yours from free on a 3-year term to CA$199.99 sans any contract…

Walk in to a telus store and ask if they have any pay-as-you-go phones. You can get this exact phone for $99, I know this because I did it yesterday.
Enjoy and remember that the power lies in the user, not the supplier!
