Apparently ordering a pizza can be a hassle for some people, hence Pizza restaurants are turning to technology to remove (almost) any human contact with their customers. Just kidding, I guess it’s the convenience Pizza restaurants wants to provide to their customers.

Papa JohnFollowing Domino’s Pizza, we now have Papa John’s restaurants accepting orders by text message. Apparently, this makes them the “first national chain to offer this convenience.” And while we like the idea of spreading the uses of mobile technology, somehow I see both Domino’s and Papa John’s “mobile moves” aimed primarily for getting some media attention. Well folks – you’ve succeeded! :)

Anyway, you can check out the Papa John’s SMS ordering system demo from here. More information is available on Papa John’s website.
