I agree as well-no full touchscreen device for me either! Now I do love big displays, but the perfect phone for me would have a 3"+ display as well as a keypad of some sort. The reason for this is very simple:one-hand operation. Oh,and operating without actually looking (something I annoyingly can't do right now on my N95-1 because of the famous keypress bug!). And about the S60 menu:I hope everyone knows it's fully customizable!

subsidised
open to all networks
3G
removable battery
no Steve Jobs
3rd party software
free-for-all bluetooth
no itunes
bit smaller
etc

Andrew, in the second part of your comment you have just described the iPhone for us! :-)

N I completely agree with Stefan, i too will not buy an all touch device even if it has haptic feedback, a keypad is an absolute must.
A screen no matter how well made cannot duplicate the keypad ease and the ability to type without looking!

The iPhone interface really highlights how ugly and tiresome the Nokia interfaces have become, I like whole the vivid colours on a dark background. Personally I wanna get rid of these damned button things cramping my style and have as much of it on touch-screen as possible.

Actually my ideal phone would be a plain touch-screen in candybar format with no flip or slide or anything and the screen taking up as much room on the phone as possible, with maybe one or two buttons if really necessary below them. But I'd also like some buttons on the side just for changing songs on the music player so I can just reach into my pocket and do that without getting it out and looking at the screen. Also I don't want a stylus to present at all.

I am praying for a very revamped GUI - the current GUI is looking pretty tired, its no longer as logical as it used to be and is too cluttered. Please Nokia dont keep the current GUI and slap on some 3d effects. SE, Android and Apple all have very good and easy to use OS's either in the works or out already.

At teh moment I feel Nokia are motoring along very quickly - but missing some of the details, as well as trying to stick to the familiar Symbian menu - be brave not conservative!

I'd like to see the E61i redesigned a bit since I see a ton of potential for the form-factor. It needs to be a bit narrower so it can be held on one hand, touch screen capabilities, same features as the N82, plus 16GB flash memory and a super fast processor, build on a stylish but robust metal case (overall size and form of the moto q is actually perfect).

That would make it an ultimate superphone!
