LG Shine hitting the AT&T stores?
By Dusan Belic on Tuesday, November 20th, 2007 at 4:57 AM PST In AT&T, Devices, LG, Rumors

We’ve already reported that AT&T wants a piece of LG’s “Shiny” and “Prady” action (oh my God, this sounds horrible). Now, according to Engadget’s tipster, it seems that the first LG Shine devices are appearing in the carrier’s stores around the country. And while we can’t confirm anything at this stage — there’s no official word from AT&T (NYSE: T) — it kinda makes sense to push them before Thanksgiving, and prepare for the “record-breaking” Christmas season.
Finally let’s talk about price. If you happen to like the LG Shine, you’ll have to pay $150 (after $50 rebate) and sign for a two-year agreement — or you can browse through eBay, buy an unlocked device and take it from there…

Hello. This sounds good but could someone enlighten me on what is so special about AT&T? Ive no idea what it is. Ive been seeing it alot on many websites i visit and would like to know what it is and what is so special about it. Thank You.
Is it a carrier like O2, Orange, T-mobile and vodafone? But just based in the US?
ATT is most likely the best option for customers who are more interested in calling people rather than texting. Although I have the family texting plan of $30 per month for unlimited, the cheaper plans are not very good at all. For one phone to have unlimited it costs them $25 which includes any type of message you can think of. But the calling plans are a whole lot more reasonable and you get more reception in places where other companies do not get any. ATT is mostly for the person who would rather talk on the phone rather than send text messages.
