Sony Ericsson and Research In Motion (RIM) announced out-of-the-box availability of BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Connect software v4.0 on the Sony Ericsson P1i in select countries in the Asia Pacific region — including Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.
BlackBerry Connect will bring all the beauties of the CrackBerry “way of of life” to the Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE) P1i owners such as push-based email, attachment viewing and wireless email synchronization and more — all in conjunction with both BlackBerry Enterprise Server and BlackBerry Internet Service.
Finally, in case you’ve already got yourself the Sony Ericsson P1i, you can download the BlackBerry Connect v4.0 software from the Sony Ericsson website.
