Telus has just announced a release of the new low-to-mid range phone – Samsung R500. The stylish clamshell comes in red and blue, and also supports exchangeable faceplates allowing users to refresh their device from time to time.
As for the specs, there’s the 1.3 MP camera, Bluetooth, and of course microSD memory expansion slot. In addition, the Samsung R500 supports Telus’ suite of mobile services, meaning that potential customers will be able to access TELUS Mobile Music, TELUS Mobile Radio, and Windows Live Messenger.
Finally, let’s discuss the pricing. Apparently, the R500 is somewhat significant device, hence the Canadian carrier wanted to grab the exclusive deal from Samsung. Meaning, you’ll be able to buy the R500 only from Telus for CA$49.99 on a three-year term or CA$249.99 without a contract…
